from the review of this concert:
'Fame set to spread'
Jill Crossland has a direct line to J.S Bach. She transmits his work faithfully and continuously while at the piano. The audience stays alert, even when the piano is ancient.... I was surprised to be offered Busoni, but I was won over....Her finale of Chopin tested the piano, but her magical skill of communication saw her through. We had Schumann for an encore. Pianists do not become household names these days. Jill Crossland is clearly known by a narrow circle. This will surely widen.
